Su06M Immigration Updates: Migrants, Refugees, and Asylum Seekers Under Threat (Hybrid/In-Person)

In-Person | Registration opens 6/30/2026 10:00 AM EDT

[NEW CONTENT] This presentation, the third in a series of classes by Rochester Refugee Resettlement Services (RRRS), examines the ongoing changes in US immigration policy and their effects on the thousands of refugees, migrants, and asylum seekers in the country. Rather than focusing on political arguments, the program centers on the humanitarian concerns at stake. It will present case examples and offer perspectives from those who work directly with these populations, including legal experts, advocates, relief organizations, and media reports.  Audio/Visual, Discussion, Lecture
