[NEW CLASS] Hear the name Hedy Lamarr and the first thing that likely comes to mind is: “The Most Beautiful Woman in the World”. But Hedy was much more than a beautiful actress; she was a feminist, a pioneering female film producer, a ski resort designer, and, much to our benefit today, a ground-breaking inventor. This class will touch upon all of these facets as we seek to understand this complex woman. Audio/Visual, Lecture

Alice Hooper
Alice Hooper has been a member of Osher for four years. She learned about Ishi as a young teenager and was captivated by his story.
Richard Mallory
Richard Mallory taught wireless communications classes on five continents and has written several textbooks on radio theory of operation and maintenance. He has also led four previous opera courses at Osher.
