[NEW COURSE] Each week we’ll look at one visual work of art (painting, sculpture, photography) in class and closely observe what it has to say. This is not a survey of art history, but it is a course on why people make and enjoy art. I’ll provide insights about the artists and their times, but the class is encouraged to engage in lots of discussion. Audio/Visual, Discussion, Lecture

Lisa Jadwin

Lisa Jadwin, Ph.D. (English, Princeton University), has 35 years of teaching experience, has won teaching awards, and has taught college-level courses on detective fiction for more than two decades. She is a retired professor from St. John Fisher University.
