All members, but especially those new to lifelong learning programs, are cordially invited for a session on how to maximize your enjoyment, mobilize your sense of discovery and fulfillment throughout the “third age” of life with OLLI at University of Arkansas. Lifelong learning recognizes that knowledge is not confined to childhood or the classroom but takes place throughout life and in a range of situations. Over coffee and refreshments, director Josh Raney shares the Bernard Osher Foundation vision to support programs that celebrate learning for the joy of learning, resulting in more than 119 institutes on college campuses throughout the nation. Learn what makes the institute a unique and successful peer led organization. Get answers to your questions regarding institutional funding, policies & procedures, website and newsletter navigation, special events and more. Hear from OLLI instructors, staff and member leaders. We will encourage
participants to share their interests and engage in discussion.
