This class will explore the basic make up of the computer and its components, how they work and what we need to consider when they don’t. Students will have a chance to ask questions regarding computer function, programs and the internet. Additional course time will be spent on basic computer maintenance, computer peripherals and security issues.

  • Participants can bring a laptop to class for a more hands-on experience. (This is not a requirement.)

Currently working with the University of Arkansas Department of Communication, Hershel spends a great deal of time with technology and social media. He has devoted many hours to learning about and using these platforms for networking personally and professionally. He is a husband, father and grandfather who enjoys a wide variety of activities and interests including, travel, photography, music, and technology.
