Come take a peek behind the curtain at all the inner workings of TheatreSquared.  From the season selection to creating the sets. In this interactive workshop you will learn the ins and outs of how a professional theatre works.  Meet with representatives from different departments, tour the theatre with a behind the scenes look at all things TheatreSquared.   

Chad Dike, Director of Education for T2, will give an overview of Theatre Squared and the season selection and casting during the first hour. During the second hour, participants will tour the space with members of a production. Finally, during the third hour, everyone will learn what happens after the show is cast.

Dike, Chad

Chad Dike joined the T2 Team in 2021 as the Director of Education. Originally hailing from Louisville, Kentucky, his career in arts education began at Arena Stage in Washington, DC working in the Community Engagement Program. Over the last 15 years he has worked as a director, educator, and art administrator creating and facilitating theatre programs for youth. Chad is passionate about theatre education as a tool to not only train the next generation of actors, artists, and appreciators, but also as a vital space for youth to develop skills to become caring, compassionate and creative people.
