We've been told fresh mozzarella is life-changing, and we think you'll agree! In this hands-on class, we’ll take you from milk to mozz, as we separate and stretch curds into mozzarella.  A little bit science lecture, a little bit cooking class - we're taking our popular Mozzarella Making 101 session to the next level. Participants will become familiar with the techniques, ingredients, and equipment needed to create mozzarella at home... completely from scratch! Jessica Keahey, owner of Sweet Freedom Cheese, will take you on a deep dive all about milk sources, milk and cheesemaking chemistry, the science of coagulation, and all the proper equipment and techniques you'll need for success.

No previous cheesemaking experience is necessary. All the materials needed will be provided in a cheese kit for local pickup in Bentonville or Fayetteville prior to class and then you'll tune in and for personalized virtual instruction.

  • This one session program will meet virtually via zoom. The zoom link will be sent to registered participants in their class reminder prior to the program start date.
