“Connect Northwest Arkansas” is the 10-Year Transit Development Plan for Northwest Arkansas. Developed by the Northwest Arkansas Regional Planning Commission (NWARPC) the plan serves as a blueprint for improving and expanding transit in the region. Tim Reavis, Multimodal Transportation Planner for the NWARPC, will present the details of the plan and discuss why transit matters, what is needed for effective transit, and how local jurisdictions can support it. Participants will learn about the future of public transit in the region and what the NWARPC, Ozark Regional Transit, and Razorback Transit are doing to prepare.

Tim Reavis is a Multimodal Transportation Planner for the Northwest Arkansas Regional Planning Commission. Prior planning experience includes 7 years at the City of North Little Rock. He has a master’s degree in public administration from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. He is a member of the South West Transit Association and the American Institute of Certified Planners.
