Invasion Of The Granny Squares
Workshop | Registration closed 10/30/2024
Have you noticed how you can’t go to a yarn event without tripping over at least a dozen granny squares? Want to learn how to make your own stack of tripping hazards? Instructional Designer, Kimberly Hughes, will teach you how to make a basic granny square, including color changes and tips to keep away the dreaded Granny Square Twist. You should already know how to make a chain, single crochet, and double crochet stitch before taking this class.
Participants will be responsible for obtaining their own materials: Red Heart acrylic yarn in 4 colors ($2-5/each), size H 5.0mm crochet hook ($2-5), yarn needle ($2), scissors ($5).
This class will meet in person at the OLLI offices, located at 481 S. Shiloh Drive, Fayetteville, AR 72704. Please read your class reminder email for the exact room location.
Class changes occasionally happen, please watch for (and read) announcements or emails from OLLI regarding your class.
