Men's Urologic Health: Mind Your Prostate
Lecture (1 session) | Available
The body ages but feeling older may not occur as fast as the numerical number. As men become older, there are many routine checkups that are missed or ignored out of a security of being asymptomatic. However, this is your life, and you need to take control as you are the driver on this ride. Many men notice other guys with urologic issues but falsely believe it is something that only affects others. There are many changes that affect all men, regardless of race or family tree.
Join Dr. Mark Jackson to discuss routine life as we men age. Understand when you should start to consider seeing a urologist. When is it too many times to wake up and go to the bathroom? What is a PSA and why should you ask your primary care doctor to monitor it? Is prostatitis really an infection? What are your options to improve your quality of life and be more active? Participate in the conversation and recognize when you need to consider further investigation.
