Is The Earth Unique?
Class | Available
In the past people assumed that many planetary systems are like ours. Now we have discovered thousands of planets in more than a thousand planetary systems, but few systems look like ours. Dr. Malcolm Cleaveland, Professor Emeritus of Geosciences, will explore what we know about stars and planets in our galaxy and what that may mean for the existence of complex life like Earth’s in the galaxy.
This class will meet in person at the OLLI offices, located at 481 S. Shiloh Drive, Fayetteville, AR 72704. Please read your class reminder email for the exact room location.
Class changes occasionally happen, please watch for (and read) announcements or emails from OLLI regarding your class.
