Dr. Stephenie Slahor is retired from her law practice and her teaching roles at both the university and law school levels. In this course, you’ll discover Arizona’s Grand Canyon, one of the world’s most famous natural wonders. We will explore its origins and geological features, the crucial role of the Colorado River, and the intricate history of human activity, including connections to Native American tribes. Additionally, we will examine the inner Canyon trails, the growth of tourism, and the unique biology and botany of the Canyon’s five life zones, showcasing species that are found nowhere else on the planet.
