Join us for an inspiring presentation by the Chancellor of the University of Arkansas as he shares the bold vision and exciting future of our state’s flagship institution. Presented in partnership with the Arkansas Alumni Association and OLLI, “Reaching Higher” offers a broad yet meaningful look at the University’s proudest achievements—from national recognition in research and innovation to transformative student success initiatives and the growing reputation as an employer of choice.
This engaging talk will highlight how the University continues to serve Arkansas and the world through academic excellence, community partnerships, and groundbreaking discovery—all while staying rooted in tradition and Razorback spirit. Learn how today’s students are being prepared for tomorrow’s challenges, and how the institution is shaping a brighter future for all.
Whether you’re a proud alum, a lifelong learner, or simply curious about the University’s impact, you’ll leave with a renewed appreciation for the power of public higher education in our state.
This program will meet in person at Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House, located at 491 North Razorback Road, Fayetteville, AR 72701. Please read your class reminder email for the exact room location.
Class changes occasionally happen; please watch for (and read) announcements or emails from OLLI regarding your class.
Parking: Event parking is available in Lot 200 and AVL Lot. I am making a map to show these areas. There will be signage to directing ppl to the building and room which is Boyer.
The presentation will go until 11 am followed by a reception in Sturgis Hall. Very light snacks and hor' s devours.
