Behind The Hidden Pain

Study Group (2-3 session | Registration opens Tuesday, August 19, 2025 10:00 AM

We often hear the terms “inflammation” and “autoimmune,” but what do they mean for our health—especially as we age? Many of us feel like we’re fighting battles within our bodies. Dr. Orie Quinn, a frequent OLLI presenter, will explore what inflammation is and when it shifts from healing to harming. He’ll explain how the immune system can become confused, triggering issues like joint pain, fatigue, brain fog, and swelling—symptoms that are often dismissed as just part of getting older. These signs are important signals from the body.

Participants will learn simple, practical ways to calm inflammation naturally through nutrition, movement, and daily habits, along with how to find treatments that offer real healing rather than just masking symptoms. Your body is always trying to heal—it simply needs the right support. No matter how long you’ve been struggling, real change is possible. You’re not broken. You’re resilient. And it’s never too late to start feeling better.
