Eat Plants: Prevent & Reverse Chronic Disease With a Whole Food Plant-Based Lifestyle!

Virtual /Online | Available

A growing body of research supports the power of a whole food, plant based (WFPB) lifestyle to promote long-term health, reduce inflammation, and prevent— sometimes even reverse—chronic diseases such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, Alzheimer’s, and certain cancers. This four-session, evidence-based course explores the science behind WFPB nutrition and its powerful connection to disease prevention and healthy aging. Participants will learn how to design and sustain a well-balanced plant-based diet, with practical guidance, meal strategies, and a collection of healthy recipe resources.

The course is led by Dr. Denise Rose, a sociologist and passionate educator who has taught WFPB nutrition for several years. Now 73, Dr. Rose has defied her family’s history of chronic illness by embracing a WFPB lifestyle, and she shares both the science and her personal experience with clarity and enthusiasm.

Presented via Zoom, this course offers meaningful insights and motivation—all from the comfort of your home.

  • This program is being held virtually via Zoom. The link to the virtual session will be sent in the class reminder a few days before the class start date. Please save the link once you receive it. Multi-session courses will use this same link each week.

Denise Rose

Dr. Denise Rose received her Ph.D. in Sociology and is an enthusiastic educator about Whole Food Plant-Based Nutrition and has been teaching this course for several years. Although her parents had several chronic diseases in life, Denise, at 73, has none of them. Instead of her parents’ genetics determining her fate, she believes her WFPB diet and other lifestyle medicine behaviors are what are responsible for keeping her healthy and not suffering from chronic disease.
