Help Save Lives - Learn CPR (10 AM)

Workshop | Registration opens Tuesday, August 19, 2025 10:00 AM

The importance of CPR and AED in saving lives has recently been at the forefront of news coverage. It is important to be trained to help one another in the event of an emergency. In addition to CPR, participants will learn how to operate an automated external defibrillator (AED), a medical device designed to analyze the heart rhythm and deliver an electric shock to victims of ventricular fibrillation to restore the heart rhythm to normal. Finally, basic first aid will be taught, covering how to handle bleeding emergencies, sudden illness, and muscle, bone, and joint injuries. This program will be taught by Dr. Michael Ditmore, a Certified American Heart Association instructor.

Please choose either the morning session (10-12) OR the afternoon session (2-4).

  • This option is the morning session (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM.)

This program will meet in person at
OLLI Headquarters (HQ), located at 481 S. Shiloh Drive, Fayetteville, AR 72704. Please read your class reminder email for the exact room location.
