The Early Christian Church Before Christendom

Virtual /Online | Registration opens Tuesday, August 19, 2025 10:00 AM

Many of the internal discussions and debates between various Christian groups that have characterized Christendom over the past 1700 years now seem somewhat irrelevant in light of the growing secularization of Western culture. What can contemporary American Christians learn from the early church, which thrived and multiplied in an inhospitable cultural environment? Recently retired Co-Pastor of First United Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville, Rev. Dr. Philip Butin, along with participants, will look at the beliefs, worship, and practices of the first three centuries of the early church.
