Learn About Your Water Source - Beaver Lake!

Class | Registration opens Tuesday, August 19, 2025 10:00 AM

Did you know that 1 in 5 Arkansans rely on Beaver Lake for drinking water? Join us for an eye-opening class and guided tour that explores how this vital reservoir powers daily life across Northwest Arkansas. You’ll learn how water is sourced, treated, and distributed through the Beaver Water District—and why conservation is critical to the region’s future.

This experience includes a behind-the-scenes tour of the water treatment facility, where experts will walk you through each step of the process. See the systems in action, ask questions, and gain insights you won’t find in a textbook or on a solo visit.

Whether you’re a curious newcomer or a lifelong resident, you’ll leave with a deeper understanding of where your water comes from—and how you can help protect it. Explore the hidden infrastructure that keeps Arkansas flowing—and discover your role in its future.
