Understanding The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints: Theology & History

Study Group (2-3 session | Available

Join us for a two-part exploration into the rich history and distinct theology of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We’ll dive into core LDS beliefs: Jesus Christ as our Savior, the nature of God, continuing revelation, the role of prophets, eternal families, what the Book of Mormon is, and the plan of salvation. We’ll explore how these beliefs shape Latter-day Saint practices and community life today.

This class will trace the Church’s origins - from Joseph Smith’s early visions and the translation of the Book of Mormon to the migration west and the growth of a global faith. All participants are welcome -- whether you’re curious, studying religion, or seeking a greater understanding of a faith that has shaped millions of lives

  • This program will meet in person at OLLI Headquarters (HQ), located at 481 S. Shiloh Drive, Fayetteville, AR 72704. Please read your class reminder email for the exact room location.
