Rain Garden Design
Workshop | Registration opens Tuesday, February 3, 2026 10:00 AM
The Illinois River Watershed Partnership (IRWP) Director of Restoration Services, Annie Sales and Morgan Keeling, Associate Director, will walk you through the process of designing a rain garden that captures and filters stormwater while adding beauty and habitat to your landscape. IRWP will cover how to choose the right location, size, and plants for your site; how soil, slope, and drainage affect your design; and simple construction techniques that make installation easier and efficient at treating stormwater.
Whether you’re a homeowner, landscape professional, or community volunteer, you’ll leave ready to design a functional and attractive rain garden suited to Northwest Arkansas’s soils and seasons.

This program is being held in person at the new Springdale Senior Center, located at 823 E. Emma Ave, Springdale, AR 72764.

Morgan Keeling is the Program Manager, Residential and Commericial Partnerships for the Illinois River Watershed Partnership.
Annie Sales
Annie Sales is the Director of Restoration Services at the Illinois River Watershed Partnership, and leads restoration efforts through project implementation and stakeholder outreach. Morgan Keeling is the Associate Director, leading initiatives in stormwater and wastewater management.
