Experience The Art Of Cheese At White River Creamery (3/7)
Class | Registration opens Tuesday, February 3, 2026 10:00 AM
This experience is perfect for turophiles (cheese lovers!) and anyone curious to learn more about the art of cheese. Our first stop is a behind-the-scenes look at our micro dairy. Don your booties and step inside our viewing room for a glimpse of our milking parlor and cheese-making room.
Next, we’ll head up to the top pasture, where our very own cheesemonger will guide you through the wonderful world of cheese in our cozy yurt. The best way to learn about cheese is through tasting and pairing it, of course! You’ll sample cheeses inspired by France, Greece, and our own Southern traditions—come hungry, because you’ll leave full and happy. After your bellies are content, we’ll spend some time visiting the goats who started it all.
(Cost of meal: $55 - on participant’s own.) There are 2 date options, please choose one or the other when registering. (Current OLLI members only.)
This program will meet in person at White River Creamery, located at 11701 AR-16, Elkins, AR 72727. Please read your class reminder email for the exact room location.
Class changes occasionally happen; please watch for (and read) announcements or emails from OLLI regarding your class.
