Microsoft PowerPoint 2019, Level 1
This course provides the basic concepts and skills that you need to start being productive with Microsoft PowerPoint 2019: How to create, navigate, format and customize PowerPoint presentations. This course and the Level 2 course map to the objectives of the Microsoft Office exams for PowerPoint 2016. You will benefit most from this course if you want to accomplish basic workplace tasks in PowerPoint 2019, or if you want to have a solid foundation for continuing on to master PowerPoint. If you intend to take a Microsoft Office exam for PowerPoint, this course is a good place to start your preparation, but you will also need to complete the Level 2 course to be fully prepared for either exam.
Nancy Hutzell
Nancy brings to Washburn Tech over 19 years in secondary education. After 15 years as Curriculum Coordinator at Highland Park High School, she retired in 2012. She worked part-time at the Kansas Association of School Board and returned to the classroom in 2018 as a substitute teacher. Recently joined the Washburn Tech staff as an instructor in Microsoft Office Suites—Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint along with Outlook.
She has taught Business Education for 19 years of which 7 years at Hamilton Business College, 11 years at Kaw Area Technical School and 1 year at Highland Park High School. She has had experience in computer sales and taught one-day Microsoft Word and Excel classes.
Nancy received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education at the University of Northern Iowa and her Master’s Degree at Pittsburg State University.
