Create your own ceramic bowl for the Empty Bowls 2026 event while supporting local food-insecurity efforts. This hands-on class lets you explore basic pottery techniques and enjoy getting your hands a little dirty for a great cause. All materials are provided, and no experience is needed. Join us on the Sun Lakes campus and craft a bowl that will make a difference.
Michael Ceschiat
Michael Ceschiat is a residential faculty member and faculty lead of the Ceramics program at Chandler-Gilbert Community College. Michael has been making, exhibiting and teaching ceramics for over three decades. Michaels ceramic and steel sculptures have been shown nationally and internationally. Michael has a Bachelor's degree of Fine Arts from Columbus College of Arts and Design majoring in ceramics and sculpture.
