In this class we will discuss the Chalk, a major aquifer of the United Kingdom, and abandoned mine-related groundwater in the Rocky Mountains.
Gareth Davies
Gareth Davies is a Geological Society of America Fellow. He was nominated and elected for his decades of work in groundwater, particularly with regards to applying tracing techniques. He was conducted several decades of work in North America: abandoned mines in the Rocky Mountains; in karst and fractured rocks in Tennessee, Indiana, Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico, and Maine.
