Literature/Film Studies | Registration opens 4/15/25 9:00 AM EDT

Who done it?  From Poe to Hitchcock, film, radio, and television to podcasting let’s discuss and explore media’s crime obsession.  In this six-session class, we will explore the following:

*Who Done It? – In the News:  From Headline to Dateline

*Who Done It? -  Authored By:  A Literary Look into the Classics

*Who Done It? – From Radio Drama to Podcast True Crime

*Who Done It? – Taking the Case …TV Detectives

*Who Done It? – Murder! – A Film Primer Part I (Hitchcock, Film-noir)

*Who Done It? – Murder! – A Film Primer Part II (The Godfather and True Crime Stories)

Professor Bohannon will spend each class exploring a different section of mass media as it

relates to the subject of mystery and murder…attempting to shed light upon America’s obsession with murder and who done it?  Think of it…from news to literature to radio and tv to the big screen there is no shortage.  “Thou shalt not kill” (Exodus 20:13), but it never stopped anyone from wondering about it or trying to figure out who, really done it.
