704C Flatwater Tales Storytelling Festival

Excursions & Activities | Available (Membership Required)

As an ORICL member registered for the performance(s), your name will be included in the “Group sales” list at the Grove Theatre. You will enjoy premier reserved seating at the front center section of the theatre.  Ushers will be standing by to seat you with other ORICL members. Each story will only be told one time at this year’s festival, making each show 100% unique, so you may want to attend all four sessions!

704C – Saturday, June 7 at 2:00 p.m. – Ticket price $15

Reverend Robert Jones presents “Crazy in Alabama” a musical medley of soulful stories of his youth and coming of age at Grandma’s.  Guitar in hand, Robert will infuse these stories with song by singing and playing verses of Crazy in Alabama, by Kate Campbell, in his gut-wrenching rhythm and blues style.  Anne Shimojima and Bil Lepp will also perform to round out this amazing program.

  • Tickets cost $15 per show, and because every show is completely different, many festival attendees choose to go to every performance.  ORICL group tickets include “front and center” reserved seating at the Grove Theatre (note:  handicapped seating is on the left and right wings only).  Look for “Group Sales” at the entrance to the Grove Theatre to check in.  Your name will be on the ORICL reserved list, and you will be escorted to your reserved VIP seats.

You may register for one session of the festival or multiple sessions.  Please specify which session you wish to attend.  Ticket payments will be cash or check only and will be accepted in the ORICL office.
