150 From Soup to Nuts - How to Setup Your Computer and Printer
Computers, Science, Tech | Available (Membership Required)
Got a new computer for Christmas and it’s still in the box? Not sure where to start? You’re not alone! We are here to help you get started, and we will make it simple and even a little fun.
We will kick off things just like Julie Andrews says: start at the very beginning. We will guide you through setup, security, connecting to the internet, and setting up your email. Finally, we will step through how to set up that pesky printer! If we have time, we will cover even more.
Since every computer is a little different, this class runs for four weeks. Week 1 is all about the basics that apply to every computer. Week 2 is for Windows PCs, Week 3 is for Macs and iPads, and Week 4 is to talk about printers and sum everything up.
Bring your own computer if you’d like to participate; we won’t provide the computers.
So come join us – you’ll gain essential computer skills, boost your confidence, and enjoy the experience.
