Albert Einstein irrevocably changed the face of physics. Eventually, he would achieve fame and influence not only as a scientist but also as a philosopher and a humanitarian, involved with some of the most profound issues of the day. Students get an in-depth look at the life and work of Albert Einstein, undoubtedly one of the most brilliant minds of the 20th century. This course examines his revolutionary innovations in physics, his philosophical reflections on the methods and foundations of science, and his public efforts championing a variety of social causes.

Dan Robbins

Dan Robbins retired from B&W Y-12 in 2013 after 47 years of company service. At Y-12 he was the director of the analytical laboratories.  He is a chemistry graduate of UNC, Chapel Hill and a Princeton PhD. He retired as the founding chairman of Greenway Oak Ridge in 2024 after 31 years of service.
