501 Ukrainian II
Language | Available (Membership Required)
This course will be a continuation of Ukrainian II from the winter/spring 2026 term. We will continue using the book Beginner’s Ukrainian; Yuri Shevchuk, Third Edition, ISBN 978-0-7818-1439-3, available online, or it can be ordered from the local Books-A-Million bookstore.
The class will most likely begin with Chapter 10 of the textbook. This means that the alphabet; concepts such as case and gender; adjectives; singular declensions of pronouns, genitive, propositional and possibly dative cases in nouns, pronouns, and adjectives; past, present, and future tenses; aspect and numbers will have been covered in the previous term. If you are comfortable with those, you are welcome to join us. There will be about an hour or two of homework weekly.
