This will be a fun activity involving introduction to the differences in English tea versus Indian tea. It involves making spice tea with boiling water and adding different spices to water with loose tea leaves, milk and jaggery or sugar, and making a typical everyday masala (spice) tea which is popular in Southeast Asian countries.


Supriya Singh

Supriya Singh is a physician at UT Medical Center. She trained and earned her MD in New York and then moved to Ohio where she specialized in infectious diseases at the Cleveland Clinic before moving to Knoxville to practice medicine. Outside of work, she loves to travel with her family, and enjoys different food cuisines and cooking.
