700D - Saturday, June 6th at 7:00 pm - Flatwater Tales Grand Finale: “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness” – Celebrating 250 Years of America in Song and Story ($15)

All three storytellers will join the ORCMA Chorus on stage at Oak Ridge High School for a patriotic program featuring songs and stories about life, liberty, and happiness. The event will conclude with an audience sing-along that will complete another Flatwater Tales Storytelling Festival. - Location: Oak Ridge High School Performing Arts Center


  • Bil Lepp is an award-winning storyteller, author, and recording artist. His humorous family-friendly tall tales have delighted audiences across the country, from public schools to Comedy Central’s Hudson Stage.

     

    Josh Goforth is a Grammy-nominated master fiddler, storyteller, and accomplished musician who plays nearly 20 instruments. He has performed at the Grand Ole Opry, Lincoln Center, and Carnegie Hall. He has toured extensively across the US, Europe, Asia, and Australia. He currently serves on the faculty at the Academy for the Arts in Asheville.
