This class will be general coverage of what Y-12 has done recently, what is going on, and where we are headed. There will be some coverage of global events that are driving changes to Y-12.
Abe Mathews
Abe Mathews is the Senior Director of the Analytical Chemistry Organization and Technical Assurance (ACO and TA) for Consolidated Nuclear Security at the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN. In this role, he is responsible for all Analytical Chemistry operations, which affect nearly every material that leaves the Y-12 site. Mathews holds a BS in chemical engineering and an MS in materials science/metallurgical engineering from Michigan Technological University, Houghton, Michigan.
