Norman Barrett worked as a hospital pharmacist in Orlando, FL from 1969 to 1997. The Smoky Mountains lured him away with the promise of new adventures and 800 miles of trails to explore while continuing his career at Kroger until retiring in 2011. Travel, writing, photography and writing a new book has kept him busy.
