Mah Jongg is a traditional Chinese tile game that originated in the 19th century. It is typically played by four players using 144 tiles categorized into suits, winds, dragons, and bonus tiles (jokers). Participants will need to order the 2026 card from National Mah Jongg League, Inc. www.nationalmahjonggleague.org

Jo Walker Demag has studied and played Mah Jongg for several years. She has taught the game at several locations and currently teaches the game at the Clinton Senior Center on Fridays.
